About Us.

What is Code Club?

Code Club (C2) is an organization at Diamond Bar High School where members can expand their coding skills and interests.

Who is welcome?

Everyone who has an interest in coding or computer science may join. Although not everyone ought to be a programmer, we encourage people to try and see if you like this stuff. We apologize in advance if the activities we do don't suit your level, but you may check out the resources section or let us know if you want to do something in particular.

What do we do?

We host monthly workshops on various programming languages and Computer Science concepts, ranging from beginner-level topics to more advanced ones. We offer a program called Interest Development Groups in which officers specializing in different skills of Computer Science act as mentors for students in their perspective Interest Groups and send them learning resources while guiding members in their journey in learning these topics. We also offer Advanced Placement Computer Science A Tutoring for students taking the AP course at our school.

Competition wise, we host annual Capture the Flag cybersecurity competitions and one-day hackathons catered toward beginners. If time permits, we also organize field trips to competitons outside of our high school such as CodeDay LA and High School Programming Contest.
